Remembery Chips, A Children's Book to Be Read on the Computer
STOUGHTON, MA, July 2, 1994—Suppose you hadn’t seen a computer before, and someone told you that it had a “drive?” Or a “screen?” Or that it had—eek!—a “mouse?” What would *you* think a computer would look like?
Imagination, discovery, and humor are the themes in a new interactive electronic book for children and their parents: Wayward Fluffy Publications announces the publication of the electronic Pixel Book™, Remembery Chips, an original story for young children (and their parents) about a child's discovery of a computer and how it works.
The Remembery Chips Pixel Book™, an entirely new work designed for the computer and created to be read by parent and child together, has delightful pop-up color illustrations; spoken words and phrases, as well as sound effects and music; a picture gallery of the book’s illustrations; a bookmark feature and on-line help, and a way to personalize the book for your child.
The interactive electronic book (34 pages, with illustrations) is currently available as a version that will run on most color Macintosh™ computers. The book is recommended for young children ages 2-8, to be read with parents or older siblings.
